Sound and light

The audio-visual spectacle "Sound and Light" is a unique attraction for Europe. Similar spectacles are found in no more than three places in the world. Visitors to the Egyptian pyramids can enjoy a similar show.

Dramatic music, colorful lights, lasers and church bells, all combined into one, tell the glorious and tragic story of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom (1185 - 1393). The spectacle is a unique attraction and is part of the magic of Tsarevgrad Tarnov. The first show was in 1985 in honor of the 800th anniversary of the uprising of the brothers Asen and Petar.

The hundreds of colored lights, the three laser beams, present moments from Bulgarian history, the battles against the Ottoman hordes, the years of the Turkish yoke, the revolutionary movement and the Liberation.

The colorful extravaganza is accompanied by specially composed music. The entire show is "conducted" by a computer.

The medieval fortress opens its doors, the hills of Tsarevets come alive and tell the story of the glorious Tarnovgrad over and over again. A spectacle that you must see at all costs!
